Windows Install the Windows build Retrieve the installer through checkout or Customer Updates. Verify its SHA-256 value in the Release Center. Run the installer and approve Windows security prompts only when the filename and checksum match. Launch Retrowave and select the folders containing your music.
Android Install the APK Download the APK directly to the Android device. Allow installation from the browser or file manager when Android asks. Install and open Retrowave. Grant media/file access needed for folders you select.
Library Import music without moving it Choose the folders that already contain your audio files. Let the first metadata and artwork scan complete. Keep external drives connected when those files are part of the library. Use relinking tools after a folder or drive path changes.
Metadata Fix unknown albums and artists Open Library Tools or Diagnostics. Filter tracks with unknown or incomplete metadata. On desktop, open the containing folder and correct the file tags with your preferred editor. Refresh or rescan the affected folder in Retrowave.
Backup Protect playlists and local app data Use Retrowave’s local backup/export tools. Store the backup outside the device or primary music drive. Export important playlists as M3U/M3U8 files. Test restoring before relying on a backup as the only copy.
Orders Recover a paid download Open Customer Updates. Enter the exact email used in Stripe Checkout. Select the purchased platform or search all owned platforms. Contact support with the Stripe receipt email when an order is not found.
Troubleshooting Send useful bug information Open Retrowave Diagnostics. Copy the app version, build, platform, library counts, and playback backend details. Describe what happened immediately before the issue. Say whether it affects one file, one album, or the entire library.
Linux Linux is not released yet The Linux desktop build will be published only after native compilation, audio, file access, desktop integration, and `.deb` installation tests pass.
